"Remote Start Works Well, But..."
So far, the remote start feature has been pretty awesome after two months of use. However, the absence of a decent manual is a real hassle. When I reached out to customer support and chatted with a guy named Evan about how long the lithium-ion batteries last, he told me it was 3-5 WEEKS! After a bunch of emails with Evan and doing some digging on my own, I figured out he was likely referring to the duration before needing to recharge the battery on models that have a RECHARGEABLE battery. He was aware of the model I purchased, yet he seemed to mix things up. I suggested this to him in an email, but he never got back to me. Instead, I received a message saying my ticket was closed and they hoped I was happy with their service. Well, I definitely wasn't.

"Everything was set up for me"
Everything was set up for me. They had all the stuff ready to install in my car when I got there. Super efficient and fast. They went over how it operates and how to use it.

"The best system I've ever put in my ride."
This is the most advanced setup I've ever had in my car. It was installed without a hitch. Everything, from the two-way remote to the drone feature, operates perfectly. I just wish I had jumped on this sooner. I totally recommend it. Awesome product.

"Customer Care at Its Best"
Unique Sounds & Auto Accessories exceeded my expectations by ensuring the alarm was configured exactly how I wanted it. I thought setting it up on a 1999 Toyota might be tricky since it's over two decades old, but that didn’t faze Technician James (who's super patient). The whole team, starting with Mitch, is top-tier. This is why I made the 80-mile round trip from Verdi NV to Carson City NV. Totally worth it for their service and expertise.

"Could Use a Proper Manual and More Info"
The installation was done by a Toyota dealer. There was no guidance on how to operate it, just a pocket card left in the 4Runner. All we got was a quick start card. An online manual? Nope, just the same quick start card! It talks about a valve mode but doesn’t explain how to switch to it, only what to do if it gets stuck. It would’ve been nice to know that it takes over my 4Runner fob when running remotely. Also, you can’t just hop in and drive with the key; you gotta turn it off and then back on with the key. Safety reasons, I guess. And there’s a timer too—I can’t figure out how to set it (maybe a manual would help), so it runs for 10 minutes before shutting off automatically. Now I know I don’t have to go turn it off myself or stress about how long it’s been running.

"Installation of the 1900S System"
I got the 1900S System set up locally, and overall, it functions pretty well. However, there was this one time when my car wouldn’t start from a direct line of sight. I suspect it might be related to how my company’s front door is arranged? The doors are double and tinted at the employee entrance. Still, it’s a direct line of sight and only 600 feet away, so it should be well within the 3000-foot range for this remote system. I hesitated to write a review just yet because we get a ton of snow here in the Northeast, and that’s when I’ll really need it to perform. My review isn’t quite finished since it hasn’t snowed yet. I’ll swing back and update my thoughts later.

"Compustar/Drone Purchase Experience"
I bought the Compustar/Drone back in late June 2022. Fast forward to October 6, 2022, and this is the FIFTH time I've had to bring the truck in. First issue - the alarm has failed on me three times; second issue - the Drone stopped functioning, and it took them FIVE days to inform me that a hard reset was needed. After that, the Drone ended up messing up all the fabs and the alarm. It's just been one problem after another. If I have to take it in again, I’m pulling it all out and demanding a refund. Not pleased at all. I gave it three stars because, in the last 90 days, it has actually worked properly for about half that time. My expectations have definitely dropped lately.

"Awesome Compustar 4905S!"
I put in quite a bit of research on the Compustar remote starter for my car. Eventually, I decided to buy it. Ryan from Best Buy/Geek Squad handled the installation with top-notch expertise and professionalism. The device operates flawlessly and the features it provides are beyond what I anticipated. I definitely suggest checking out the Compustar product.

"Can't say enough good stuff about this system"
I’ve got nothing but great things to share about this system. My remote recently went kaput, and I reached out to support; they sent me a brand new one super quick. I really appreciate companies that prioritize top-notch customer service when fixing issues. The product is fantastic and truly the best system out there. There are tons of options and upgrades available. I’m not being prompted to say any of this. Honestly, it’s hard not to be totally happy with this product.

"Encountered a few problems"
I've run into a few problems, but things are getting sorted. The alarm that came with it and the T12 haven't been playing nice together. I believe I've figured out the bugs. It's a fantastic product when it’s functioning properly.

"T13 Pro Didn't Meet My Hopes"
I got the T13 Pro under the impression that all the advertised features, like Proximity lock, Drive lock, and Auto lock, along with the remote start and alarm, would actually function. Turns out, only the remote start and alarm work, which I could've snagged in a cheaper bundle. Compustar claims those extra features only function with 'compatible' vehicles. I own a newer 5th Gen 4Runner, and it seems it's not on the compatibility list. So, I ended up shelling out a bunch of extra cash just for the LCD remote.

"Spent over a grand for the..."
Dropped more than a grand for the system. The guy who installed it mentioned that the auto-lock function was acting up. I reached out to Compustar support to find out if this was a common problem or just a clueless installer. Their response was to get in touch with the installer.
